From next week we will introduce a new take away service at Mercearia Bio Café.

Ever since we launched our take away service for menus, salads, wraps, toasties and other items we have made available in the cafeteria service, the use of boxes made from plants and that can therefore be discarded after being used, in the organic rubbish because they are entirely compostable.

But we have also realized for some time now that this is not the way we want to go in the future.

We really have to change the way we behave and rethink our habits in order to have the least impact on the environment.

So from next week, we will have available, instead of compostable boxes, reusable plastic boxes for our customers.
And because they are reusable, their cost is much higher than the disposable ones, however we will all gain from this change.

The customer will pay an amount for the box, which he will take with him.

But on the next visit, when you bring the box, return it at the Mercearia Bio Café counter and pay for your purchase, you will see a considerable portion of the amount paid for the box minus your bills.
The customer is pleased that he paid far less than the € 0.80 we charged for the compostable boxes.
