Humus - roasted garlic, pepper and aromatic herbs
Ingredients:
400gr of cooked chick peas
1 tablespoon sesame paste
5 tablespoons vegetable milk
2 roasted garlic
black pepper q.s.
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon olive oil
10 to 15 grams coriander
2 to 3 (+/-) basil leaves
juice of 1/2 small lemon
½ large roasted red pepper
preparation:
Place all the ingredients in the food processor, except the aromatic herbs and the pepper. Grind everything until it becomes a paste, then add the pepper and the herbs and mash it until you get a well balanced mixture.
Suggestion:
It can be served on toast or with vegetable sticks (ex: carrot, cucumber, peppers ...).
It also serves a great snack to take in the middle of the morning or in the afternoon.
