On March 18th we will open a new exhibition at Mercearia Bio Café de Lagos.

We are now bringing a local artist, from Barão de S. João.

Eva Herre, German by birth, but living in Portugal for over 30 years.

Eva began her artistic training in Germany, at the Free Arts Scholl from Badenweiler, and complemented her training by attending various courses and creative processes in Germany and later in Portugal.

From 2012 onwards, she created her own studio in Barão de S. João, where to this day she develops her work and keeps the pieces she creates on permanent display, in a space open to the community and visitors.

With her artistic training in art therapy and creative processes, she directed her art towards this more specific area and created her project "Traz Cor à Vida" (bring colour to life), a project that brings together art and art therapy.

Since 2005, she has participated in several group exhibitions, as a Barão Artist. From the street exhibitions that take place in Barão de S. João, to Arte Algarve in Lagoa, MALA (Lagos artists' exhibition), to the exhibition at the Walk & Art Fest in Barão de S. João, there are very many participations, which are maintained in parallel with the permanent exhibition in his studio.
